Hailing from Oak Park in the vibrant Detroit area, Jacob’s story is one of evolution—from the stages of stand-up comedy to the immersive world of improv, where he honed his craft at The Second City and brought laughter to life as part of Big Fun Limo at the Wunderground Theatre. Over the years, Jacob has graced the stage in numerous performances, appeared in films, commercials, and starred in the Amazon Prime series A Billion to One. His acting talents were recognized when he won the prestigious Mahlon Sharp Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role and took 1st place in the 17th Annual Detroit n' Hollywood Acting Competition.

 

Jacob’s creative journey didn’t stop there. His exploration of the realms of poetry and fiction has produced a lyrical body of work that transcends the ordinary, inviting readers and listeners alike to step into a world where language dances on the edge of mystery, and imagination knows no bounds. His first published poetry collection, Split the Sea, and his collection of short stories, Flipside, are testaments to his unique voice and vision.

 

Jacob’s creative expression extends beyond the written word. His spoken word poetry and hip-hop music are available on major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, and iHeartRadio.
